Sunrise to Sunset Surf & Sport was founded
in 1978 by the late Steve Donohoe. For nearly 30 years, STS has been
the go to shop for the Hamptons' local surfers. Whatever you need for
the beach, surf, or sun, STS has it.
In the old days, Steve would help out pretty much any local surfer in need. Bartering for surfboards, layaway, payment plans, sponsorships, whatever it took to get surfers the right board under their feet.
Many of the Hamptons hottest surfers have been on the STS team at one time or another. Some of the STS team alumni include Chris Harmon, Jesse Spooner, Micahael Alvino, Lutha Leahy-Miller, Kurt Rist, Dylan Stott, and Charlie Weimar, just to name a few.
Steve is survived by his three daughters and his wife; Margaret Donohoe.
